The Company

Welcome to the Cook Shop Online. We have set our website up with the specific purpose of offering unique, interesting and useful kitchenware that, while we find them indispensable, are not generally available on the retail market. We aim to deliver the best kitchen utensils & gadgets on the market that provide clever ways of reinventing the way you cook including our American bread knife and beautifully hand made wooden oyster clamp. Take a look at the great kitchen giftware we have on offer.

We are a family business. Normally we earn our ‘crust’ (sorry about that) as design consultants to the food service industry.

My name is Marilyn Parker Roberts. My business partner and husband Vin and I live with our two daughters, a Labrador and two cats in deepest Surrey.

Outside work our great interests are food and wine. Most evenings find Vin & me in the kitchen. He prepares the dinner while I help by pouring him a glass of wine! This love of preparing and enjoying good food has led us to become fascinated by culinary equipment. Our kitchen, not surprisingly, is full of it.

Not all of this equipment fulfils its promise. Lots of it stays in the drawer. However, some items get used many times a day, every day of the week. The bread knife is one such item.

It’s this realization that has lead us to create this website, on which we intend to offer the ‘really useful’ items of equipment to fellow enthusiasts.
