Leigh Harmer was driven by a desire to offer an online interface for contemporary design that looks and feels accessible, is easy to navigate and therefore inspiring to browse as well as to buy from. As well as being highly educational, this site is of course aesthetically appealing for a discerning, design-loving audience.
Leighharmer.com is not looking to appeal to the mass market - we are offering well designed products for a selective, sophisticated market who appreciate and have an "eye" for good design.

You know what you like when you see it, so we have an ongoing commitment to keep developing Leighharmer.com as a site with the best possible representation of products. We are continually sourcing the best images - pictures that are bigger, brighter and more life-like. We are also going to keep uplifting the most up to date news and information available, making the products really come to life. We will be searching for the stories behind the concepts, giving you the option to learn about the designers themselves, their backgrounds and stories and perhaps most importantly, history of the design houses who actually make the pieces "happen".

As we live in an increasingly time-poor society, making time to visit a design store has become more and more challenging. From the frustrations of public transport and traffic jams, to managing family responsibilities and the ongoing responsibilities of work, it's often simply not practical.On a practical level, it can be so much easier (and more enjoyable!) to explore design options and ideas on-line than it is to actually make it to the design showrooms themselves. But we are here - in person - whenever you do find the time to make a visit.

You will be warmly welcomed to touch and feel fabrics and finishes, to sit on sofas and relax on beds and in our easy chairs.
We LOVE having our bricks & mortar showroom and feel very lucky to be able to work in such creative surrounds. We even stay open late by appointment to enable clients to visit us in a relaxed frame-of-mind.

However, we also appreciate that a lot of our clients are unable to make the trip to visit us, whether due to fast-paced modern life of from sheer distance alone. Leighharmer.com allows you to see as much as possible of our product ranges with the same personalised levels of service and in-depth product information as you would receive one-to-one from us in our store.
