Description

Both of our UK stores are housed in historic buildings, The Conran Shop Chelsea in the magnificent
Michelin Building on London’s Fulham Road, and The Conran Shop Marylebone in converted stables
on Marylebone High Street.

Our flagship store, The Conran Shop Chelsea, opened in 1987 and heralded the revival of the area
now known as Brompton Cross. Housed within the same building, Bibendum was the first, and remains
one of the most prestigious, of Terence Conran’s burgeoning restaurant empire.

The Conran Shop was the first to spot the potential of neglected Marylebone High Street, now a
thriving and desirable shopping area, yet retaining its charming village atmosphere. Above the
store is Conran’s critically acclaimed Orrery restaurant.
