ChaplinsWith two floors and two buildings of showroom space: from wallpapers to audio visual; from cutting edge hi-fi to chandeliers, CHAPLINS houses Europe’s largest collection of contemporary European design. With over 120 leading brands on display we cater for all aspects of modern living – entertaining, lounging, dining, sleeping, lighting, flooring, accessories and interior design – all with advice from experienced and qualified staff.
Open in June 2008 is an entirely new floor housing the UK’s largest B&B Italia shop-in-shop, a Maxalto apartment and dedicated areas for Dutch Avant-garde design: “Marcel’s Wanderland”, and for Spanish outdoor furniture.  CHAPLINS Design Museum is also on site and exhibits the history of design from 1900 to the present: from Bauhaus to Memphis, Surrealism to Scandinavian Modern.
For the London Design Festival 2008, Chaplins will present exclusively the complete SCUBISM collection by UK architect and designer, Nigel Coates.  Head Of Architecture at the Royal College of Art, Nigel Coates’ new collection presents a multifaceted vision for interiors: philosophy, inspiration, fantasy and a measured dose of irony!
We aim to drive design forwards in the UK by both promoting British designers and by showcasing the very best design houses from across Europe. With a disciplined eye for quality, Chaplinsattention to detail, truth to materials and green manufacturing, our collections are elegant and intentionally rising above ideas of fashion. Our design team is constantly scouring the international design scene for refined furniture that meets the demands of an exclusive taste, which fulfils the needs of a prestigious and tastefully luxurious modern interior.
